Do you know a youth group focused on becoming leaders in their community? Who are interested in substance misuse prevention or filmmaking? Or who want to have an all-around great time? If you do, we’re excited to announce the 2016 Granite Youth Film Festival!
This is the fourth year of the film fest, during which youth teams come up with an idea for a film and then get to experience the full process of film production: budgeting, pitching their idea, making a movie, and premiering their movies at a theater. The films raise awareness about substance misuse, reveal what local communities or individuals are doing to promote action, offer new solutions, and ignite change.
Check out our flyer with additional information on creating a film. Check out some of the films from previous years here to see what awesome films youth teams have created!
If you or your youth team are interested in participating in the film fest, please contact Vicki Hebert at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information!
